A few years ago, I had the honor of capturing a beautiful wedding in St. Moritz. It was an intimate celebration attended by the closest family and friends. The ceremony took place in my favorite spot, the San Gian church in Celerina, a picturesque village nestled next to St. Moritz. Despite enduring damage and losing its roof in the 17th century, the San Gian Church, which traces back to the 14th century, stands proudly as a preserved cultural and historical monument. The ceremony's decor, featuring delicate branches of larch trees from the surrounding Engadine forests, was both simple and exquisite, perfectly complementing the timeless charm of the setting.

I met Franziska and her brother early in the morning before the ceremony, and we took a funicular train up to Muottas Muragl. This majestic setting provides a unique vantage point, revealing the Engadin Valley's beauty in its full splendor. After the ceremony, the celebration carried on with a photo session for the newlyweds in Champfer's beautiful environment, renowned for its idyllic lakes surrounded by forests.
