I met Nadia and Zachary at the wedding of Nadia's brother Michael, which was held at Greifensee Castle. With great pleasure, three years later, I received a letter from Nadia inviting me to photograph her wedding in Cornwall. Due to COVID-19, their wedding was postponed for two years. However, at the last moment, the couple decided to have a small ceremony in Geneva. As is almost always the case with the weddings I photograph, I love how international and diverse everything is. Nadia and Michael's grandmother left Russia when she was a small child, which explains their Russian names. Michael now lives in Canada with his wife, whom he met in Japan. The love story of Zachary and Nadia began in the corridors of a Drama school in London. After graduating, Nadia established herself as an award-winning playwright, and Zachary embarked on an acting career, taking on numerous roles in theatre and TV. On their special day, the Manor House buzzed with excitement, filled with guests from the realms of Theatre and TV, promising a day of unmatched creativity and musicality. Preparations saw the house come alive with music and laughter, setting the stage for a ceremony in the Walled Garden that was nothing short of magical. Nadia, in her breathtaking ballgown, and Zachary, with his unwavering smile, exchanged vows in an atmosphere laden with personal touches—from opera to instrumental performances by friends. The celebration continued with a reception that mirrored the couple's artistic flair, adorned with summer blooms and vibrant tones, leading to an evening of laughter, dance, and joyous reunions, marking the beginning of their new chapter together.
